Gaulverjaskóli Hostel is in a renovated school in the low-lying agricultural region of south Iceland. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the panoramic view of the lowlands, the birdlife, the peace and quiet.
Welcome
We have seven rooms for 1 to 6 persons and three bathrooms with shower. Dining room and kitchen facilities for guests are available.
We will provide breakfast to those who wish. Bright living room with a children's corner, tv, dvd, cd. and free WiFi that is all over the house.

This former schoolhouse turned hostel is 13 km south of Selfoss and the Ring Road.

The daily breakfast buffet includes cereal, breads, cheeses and cold meats.
Thingvellir National Park is a 45-minute drive from Gaulverjaskóli Hostel. A public swimming pool is within 10 minutes’ drive. Reykjavík 64 km.
It is 35 min drive to the hiking trail that leads to the natural hotsprings which is good to bath in.
