The House of Pirates is the local café in Patreksfjörður, it also houses an exhibition on piracy in and around Iceland, a souvenir shop and an exhange book market. The House of Pirates is located by the sea in an old smithy which has partly been restored and converted into one of the Westfjords most unique restaurants.
During summer the house is full of life and lots of cultural activities going on, such as concerts, plays and sircus-shows, to name a few.
Even though every modern restaurant facility has been installed, the very atmosphere of the old house and its history has been carefully preserved.
