Saenautasel is an old traditional house occupied between the years 1843 and 1942. The house has been renovated and you can enjoy coffe or cocoa with traditional Icelandic pancakes. You can also enjoy full meals if they're booked a day in advance. In the area is a camping ground, and those who camp, or enjoy a cup of coffee can rent a little boat and go for a short trip on a nearby lake. Hiking trips can be arranged from Saenautasel around the area, and you can try to catch some trout as well. There are some animals in Saenautasel, such as horses, lambs, chickens, cats and puppies. |
