Grenivik is a typical fishing village on the east side of Eyjafjordur, about 45 km north of Akureyri, is an old settlement place. It is characterized by the mountains to the north and rich farming land along the coastline which stretches towards Fnjoska river in the south east. Here you will find the old turf farmhouse at Laufas and a typical country church from the middle of the 19th century.
